The Canucks new gm Megan Anderson has just made her 1st ever trade.
To Canucks Chris Pronger Jeff Carter
To Flyers Cody Hodgson Kevin Bieksa VAN 3rd 2011
I am positive we won this trade both Carter and Pronger are beasts. I am aware this puts us far over cap so expect more trades to follow but, dont worry about us getting ripped I wont give anyone away for less than what i feel they deserve. I think this trade makes our team 10 times better I hope the fans feel the same way.

To clear some cap space Megan Anderson has made another trade this time to the Quebec Nordiques (what on earth is a nordique? ?). The trade is as follows: Quebec Nordiques: Jordan Schroeder Kieth Ballard 1st 2011 2nd 2011 Vancouver Canucks: Jamie Benn I feel like this trade helps us in 2 ways: 1.) We lose some cap which we needed badly after the pronger carter trade and 2.) We get a great physical young forward who will be good for years to come The only major set back I can see to this trade is that we are losing a 1st round pick but hey to get better you have to give up some things. Now fans please don't worry I promise you we will have a 1st round pick for the upcoming draft because drafting good in the 1st round is the only way to keep your team good for years to come I mean it's not like we are Detroit or anything we aren't magically going to find superstars in the 7th round.

Megan Anderson has made another trade with the Nordiques clearing more cap space. Quebec Nordiques: Christian Erhoff Vancouver Canucks: Mark Fristric 3rd 2011 This trade clears cap space and brings in a great physical d man who led the stars in +/- last year by 19 and had 171 hits in 69 games not to mention 79 blocked shots. We are deffinately becoming more and more physical with each trade made and as most of you know many people told us we were too soft to play against last year. Now upgrading our bottom 6 forwards to more big grinders in the real life off season will help but, of course there is always room for improvement and I will not rest until we have the stanley cup in our hands. Well at least until the trade deadline.

Well it appears that Megan Anderson's 1st trade is void. The Philladelphia Flyers had already traded Pronger.
This is very dissapointing. I still want to make this work so look for me to push hard to get Carter back. I just wish Gm's would keep track of their players. I apollogize for the confussion. However I still think the trades we have made thus far have made us better. Hopefully I will be able to work something out with Philly. And look for me to upgrade at rw.
Again I apollogize to the fans. Thank you for your patience on behalf of the Canucks orginization.
